I do not get enough sleep. I have no one to blame except myself. It is my fault. I have had several talks with myself about that very thing, but I have not changed a thing.
Twice this week, in two different books I am currently reading, I have read about the benefits of proper rest, and the problems a lack of sleep can cause. This is not rocket science. I know I need more rest. I just don't do anything about it.
Sleep deprivation is an enemy. It leads to a loss of energy, decreased productivity. And it can be deadly. One report shows that more people are killed by tired or drowsy drivers than drunk drivers.
Many people live beyond their means. Some financially, others physically. We cannot deny our body the rest that it needs. We will suffer.
Today's Winning Thought: I would be wise to follow my own advice. I am trying to change.
